We studied programming on a DSP kit using Assembly Level Language. The kit used was TMS320F28375. This was demonstrated by a senior in our class. Instructions required for Arithmetic, Logical and Shift Operations were demonstrated. The changes in the values of the registers before and after execution of each operation were observed. The DSP was programmed using Code Composer Studio.
So it was TMS320F28375...
ReplyDeleteCode composer studio version 3.3
ReplyDeletewhich unfortunately isn't compatible for windows 7 and later updates!
Arithmetic Operations which includes Addition Subtraction Multiply Divide, Logical Operations like And and Not and Shifting Operations like Logical Shift LEFT, Logical Shift Right, Rotate Right, Rotate Left can be performed by TMS320F28375.
ReplyDeleteYes! All those operations can be performed.
ReplyDeleteJTAG cable was used to interface DSP processor and the computer rather than USBASP cable as JTAG allowed the user to check the values of the register of DSP processor in intermediate stages rather than just at the end which helps in debugging.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this Ameya. It was helpful.
